Plaza Place moves into vertical construction

Deluca Corporation celebrated the Grand Opening of The Village at Carseldine on 9 May, marking an exciting milestone for the project and the local community.
The event brought together local residents, tenants, project partners and visitors for a day of celebration at the newly completed centre. Families and locals explored the precinct, connected with new neighbourhood businesses and enjoyed the atmosphere as The Village came to life as a welcoming community hub.
Completed in March 2026, The Village has transformed a 1.2-hectare site at 520 Beams Road into a vibrant mixed-use destination. The centre brings together everyday convenience, food and beverage, allied health, fitness, wellness and family-focused services in one accessible location.
A community celebration
The Grand Opening was a proud moment for the Deluca team, reflecting the strong support shown by the Carseldine community, tenants and project partners throughout the project.
Across the day, the centre was activated with local families, shoppers and visitors enjoying the new spaces, meeting retailers and experiencing the range of services now available at The Village. The celebration highlighted the role the centre is set to play as a place for everyday convenience, connection and community life.
A new neighbourhood hub for Carseldine Village
The opening marks an important milestone within the broader Carseldine Village masterplan, adding a central place for residents and the surrounding Brisbane northside community to shop, dine, access services and connect close to home.
The tenancy mix was carefully shaped around identified local needs, with operators selected to encourage regular, multi-purpose visits and support lasting activation beyond traditional convenience retail.
The Village is anchored by IGA and supported by a strong mix of everyday convenience, dining, fitness, health, wellness and family-focused services. Key operators include Bottlemart, Jetts Fitness, ZH Doctor Carseldine, Dental on Beams, North West Physiotherapy, Hollowed Grounds Cafe, TH7 Recovery Wellness and Carlisle Swim, alongside a growing mix of food and beverage and specialty retailers. Together, these businesses support a convenient one-stop experience, from groceries and dining to healthcare, fitness, recovery, swimming lessons and everyday services.
