The Village at Carseldine and Plaza Place by Fingerprint Property have each achieved 6-Leaf EnviroDevelopment® certification through UDIA Queensland, receiving recognition across all six elements of the nationally recognised sustainability framework.
EnviroDevelopment assesses projects across ecosystems, waste, energy, materials, water and community, providing independent verification of sustainability initiatives embedded throughout the development process.
Achieving all six leaves across both projects reflects Deluca’s broader approach to creating places that balance environmental responsibility with practical design, liveability and long-term value.
Sustainability across The Village
Now open, The Village at Carseldine has been designed as a connected retail, health, wellness and lifestyle hub supporting both Carseldine Village residents and Brisbane’s northside.
Sustainability was embedded into the project from the outset, including a 99kW rooftop solar system, passive design principles, natural light and ventilation strategies, sustainable material selection and landscaping designed to improve amenity and urban cooling.
Beyond environmental performance, the precinct prioritises walkability and community connection through activated public spaces, shaded pedestrian areas and a carefully considered mix of everyday services designed to encourage regular visitation.
Sustainable apartment living at Plaza Place
Adjacent to The Village, Plaza Place brings the same focus on sustainability into a residential setting.
Developed by Fingerprint Property and constructed by Deluca, Plaza Place will deliver 70 two-bedroom apartments designed by Architectus, with an emphasis on natural ventilation, generous living spaces and shaded balconies.
Climate-responsive design, water-efficient systems, locally native landscaping, EV-ready parking and bicycle facilities have been incorporated to reduce environmental impact while supporting comfortable, connected everyday living. More than 37 per cent of the landscaping site coverage incorporates locally native Southeast Queensland species, supporting biodiversity and helping reduce urban heat impacts.
A shared approach to Carseldine
United by a broader vision for Carseldine Village, The Village and Plaza Place bring together residential living, retail and everyday amenity within one evolving precinct.
Individually, each project has its own identity. Together, they demonstrate how considered development can create a place that feels cohesive, complementary and connected to the way people live.
