The 2026 Master Builders Queensland awards season has delivered a strong result for Deluca, with three projects recognised across the Brisbane and Gold Coast regional awards.
Porters Industrial at Berrinba and Toyota Crestmead each received top honours at the Brisbane Housing & Construction Awards, while Home Focus Pimpama – Buildings 3 + 4 was recognised at the Gold Coast Housing & Construction Awards.
Together, the three wins reflect the breadth of Deluca’s construction portfolio and the experience of our teams in delivering complex projects across South East Queensland.
Two wins for Brisbane
Porters Industrial, Berrinba was awarded Commercial / Industrial Building from $10 million up to $25 million.
Purpose-built to support the sales, servicing and hire of earthmoving equipment, the facility brings together a 2,500m² parts warehouse, 1,070m² of office accommodation and high-clearance workshop areas equipped with two five-tonne overhead gantry cranes. Porters Berrinba Submission
The project required careful coordination across multiple work fronts, including warehouse, workshop, office and extensive external pavement works, while integrating works completed by separate contractors.
Toyota Crestmead was recognised in the Commercial / Industrial Building from $25 million up to $50 million category.
Delivered under a Design and Construct contract, the new facility provides 33,366m² of built form and was developed to increase Toyota’s operational capacity and support the future growth of its distribution network. Toyota Crestmead Submission
The project also incorporates a significant range of sustainability initiatives, including 1MW of solar PV, 1MW of battery storage and 24 EV charging stations, with the facility designed to achieve 5 Star Green Star Buildings certification.
Home Focus recognised on the Gold Coast
At the Gold Coast Housing & Construction Awards, Home Focus Pimpama – Buildings 3 + 4 took out Retail Facilities over $5 million.
The latest stage of the Home Focus retail precinct comprises two large-format retail buildings with a combined gross floor area of 13,100m² and 10 bulky goods tenancies.
Originally planned as two separate stages, the project was condensed into a single construction phase in response to market demand. This required the Deluca team to reconfigure staging and sequencing while maintaining programme certainty and minimising disruption within an active retail precinct.
Recognition of our people and projects
While each winning project presented a different set of technical, operational and delivery requirements, all three reflect the collaborative approach that underpins Deluca’s construction projects.
The recognition is a credit to the project teams, subcontractors, consultants, clients and partners involved in bringing each development to life.
