Deluca has commenced earthworks on the new Bunnings Warehouse at Jimboomba, signalling the start of construction and further investment in one of South East Queensland’s growing corridors.
The project builds on a relationship between Deluca and Bunnings that began in 2009 and has since seen more than 26 stores delivered across Queensland and Northern New South Wales.
A partnership spanning more than 17 years
Beginning with Deluca’s first Bunnings project at Narangba, the partnership has grown into one of the company’s longest-standing client relationships.
Over almost two decades, Deluca has delivered Bunnings projects across metropolitan and regional locations, developing extensive experience in large-format retail construction and a strong understanding of Bunnings’ operational and delivery requirements.
Jimboomba represents the latest chapter in this established partnership.
Supporting growth in the Jimboomba region
The new Bunnings will contribute to continued investment in Jimboomba and the surrounding growth corridor, which includes communities such as Flagstone, Yarrabilba, Greenbank and Beaudesert.
Construction will generate activity across the local supply chain, creating opportunities for trades, subcontractors, suppliers and service providers. Once operational, the store will provide ongoing employment opportunities while improving access to retail and trade services for the growing local community.
The project reflects the broader investment occurring across the region as infrastructure and services expand to meet the needs of a growing population.
Earthworks underway
With earthworks now commenced, the project has officially moved into construction, with early works preparing the site for the next stages of delivery.
For Deluca, Jimboomba represents another opportunity to combine the experience of an established partnership with the delivery of infrastructure that supports the continued growth of South East Queensland.
