The project involved the dismantling and relocation of existing sheds on the site, upgrades to the car park, new concrete paths around and to the building, and the construction of a warehouse training area to include:
- Training area
- Theory room
- Office
- Kitchen and amenities
- First aid room
- Storage areas
- A new 6m high workshop
- An adjoining outdoor area to include a fixed flat deck truck trailer and shipping container area for training purposes
- Workshop area
The Trade Skills Centre will deliver qualifications in the transport logistics industry to address the skills shortage of occupations in local demand such as receivables supervisor, dispatch and receiving clerk, store-person and supply and distribution managers. De Luca are proud to be involved in the construction of such anĀ important project that offers immense value to the Logan community and surrounding businesses.
